Bands & Groups

Queen Creek High School Bands has many Bands and Groups that make up the whole crew.  This page will give a bit more information about each group.

Marching Band

The Marching Band takes place in the first semester of school.  They perform in the stands at football games Home and Away supporting the football team and helping the fans get excited for what's happening on the field.  When at Home the Marching Band plays the National Anthem and welcomes the Away team to our stadium.  During halftime the Band plays an award winning performance for everyone to watch.

Color Guard

The Color Guard takes place during Marching Band. They perform with the band for preshow and during halftime.  They work with flags, sabers, rifles, and any other props that they showcase during their shows.  

Queen Creek Indoor Percussion

During the winter and into the second semester QCIP will practice and perform a show in a gymnasium.  This is when Percussion gets a chance to show how they can do an amazing show with dance, moves, and awesome music they make.

Winter Guard

During the winter and second semester Color Guard puts together a show to music and performs in a gymnasium. They use props, flags, sabers, and rifles to wow and show their expertise at what they do.

Jazz Bands

Gold & Purple Bands

During the second semester students have the opportunity to join one of the two Jazz Bands.  The Jazz Bands perform at concerts and they also compete in the ABODA jazz band competitions.

Concert Band

Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble

There are two Concert Bands at the Queen Creek High School.  They are both year around classes that hold concerts and also compete in the ABODA concert competition circuit.

A new group for the school with limited availability.  We cannot wait to see what this group will be up to.
